Held at 1231 I Street, Room 100, beginning at 5:30 p.m., the commission staff is recommending approval of subdividing a 3.25 acre parcel into three for the purpose of constructing an 8,000 sf building on 1.07 acres, a 14,000 sf building on 1.1 acres, and a 12,000 sf building on 1.09 acres in the city's Light Industrial Review zone.
The Commission is also expected to approve construction of the Broadway Triange Parking Lot at 3425 Broadway in the General Commercial Special Planning District within the Broadway/Stockton Special Planning District to allow surface parking on 0.26 acres.
Additionally, staff has suggested approval of development of the Heritage Recreation Center for the Heritage Senior Development on 6.7 undeveloped acres located at Northborough Drive and "E" Street.
Approval is also recommended for the 40,000 sf transit repair facility located at 2760 Academy Way on 4.19 acres in the General Industrial zone.
Other projects being continued until March 28 include entitlements to subdivide a Heavy Commercial parcel into two parcels in the Broadway/Stockton Special Planning District, entitlement to subdivide one parcel into two on 1.95 acres in the Light Industrial zone; and development of the new Jackson Office Project, a 160,000 sf office building along with a 3,600 sf retail building located at 1817 65th Street on 5.7 acres of the proposed 65th Street Transit Village in the Light Industrial zone.
