The selected builders are Cahill Construction Co., Cambridge Homes, David Weekley Homes, Derrick Builders, Goehring & Morgan Construction, Henderson Development Co., Issa Homes, Jones, Clayton Construction, Rex-Tibbs Construction and Rey Homes.

At an average $200,000 each, gross first-phase sales are expected to reach $100 million, according to area brokers following the controversial commercial-retail-residential enterprise near Orlando Fashion Square Mall. The apartments will be built near the intersection of Maguire Road and Bennett Boulevard.

Pritzker's Orlando NTC Partners, the project developer, has a list of 3,000 potential buyers who asked to be contacted when home sales begin in July. An undetermined number of homes in the first phase are tentatively scheduled for completion in first quarter 2003.
