The 10,000-sf restaurant seats 320. The Cheesecake Factory serves a variety of food and although just one page of its menu is devoted to cheesecake, it has 38 variations. The other Cheesecake Factory locations in Texas are in Dallas, Frisco and Houston.
North Star Mall's anchors are Dillard's, Foley's, Macy's, Mervyn's and Saks Fifth Avenue. Other restaurants include Black Diamond, Luby's Cafeteria and Ristorante Luciano.
The Cheesecake Factory plans to maintain a quick pace of new restaurants in 2002. Other cities on its horizon are Boston, Chicago, Edina, MN, Fort Lauderdale; Las Vegas; Orlando; San Jose, CA; and St. Louis. It also has signed letters of intent for locations in Charlotte, NC and Edison, NJ where lease negotiations are under way.
