One Mission Avenue would include shops, restaurants, 174 condominiums and a possible hotel. Catellus has submitted its plans to the city but will soon turn the project over to a builder, CityMark Development of San Diego. The project is expected to take about two years.

In another Downtown project, Southland Land Corp. hopes to build the second phase of the OceanPlace Entertainment Center, now anchored by Regal Cinemas. The $20 million, six-story project would cover half a block between Cleveland Street and the theater on Mission.

Manchester Resorts has already proposed a luxury hotel with two 12-story towers just west of the Catellus property.
