The asking price is $12.5 million. Hewitt, however, says the site, which sits on 28.5 acres, would cost more than $20 million to replace.

Last May, Keebler, which has been purchased by Kellogg Co., announced the plant would be closed as part of a national cost-cutting measure. It is the largest facility of its kind that Elmhurst, IL-based Keebler currently has on the market.

So far, Hewitt says, she has received interest from users and investors on both coasts, as well as local interest.
