Law Firm Expands Lease to 43,000 SF

DENVER-Wheeler Trigg & Kennedy takes an additional 12,000 sf at 1801 California St. to accommodate a staff that has doubled to 113 in just four years, with six more attorneys arriving this month.

DENVER-The fast-growing Denver trial law firm of Wheeler Trigg & Kennedy leased an additional 12,000 sf at 1801 California St. in the heart of the Central Business District. The firm currently leases 31,000 sf. With this addition, it will occupy 43,000 sf, which is the entire 35th and 36th floor of the building.

The firm’s lease for all of the space runs through 2006.

“When we established this firm four short years ago, we had 53 people, including 19 attorneys,” says Michael O’Donnell, president and managing director of the firm. “Today, we have 113 people, including 41 attorneys, and are growing steadily…We announced the arrival of four new attorneys just last week, and are preparing the announcement of two more.”
