Baxian Handling $300M Beijing Project

NEWPORT BEACH, CA-Baxian Real Estate Development, a locally-based subsidiary of China Global Development, recently received approval for development of the first stage of Century Star City, a 25-acre development planned near the Olympic Village planned for the 2008 Olympics.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA-Approval has been received for the first stage of the$300-million Century Star City development, to be built on 25 acres near the Olympic Village to be built for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. The developer is Baxian Real Estate Development, a locally-based subsidiary of China Global Development.

The Beijing Development Planning Committee has approved the first phase construction design for the 740-acre parcel located in Qijian Town. The first phase will consist of shopping, residential and utility facilities. When fully complete, Century Star City will be a world class villa resort designed in American style together with a French styled “Laffitte” castle surrounded by a vineyard and wine cultural plaza.
