GEO Plastics is slated to occupy the facility, which is located at 2200 E. 52nd St., within the next 60 days. The company is relocating from 631 85th Ave. in Oakland, Calif. The property was sold by LA Dye of Pico Rivera.

The 10-year-old concrete tilt-up has no real office space. GEO Plastics is planning to turn the normal industrial space into a manufacturing facility. The company manufactures environmentally friendly products designed to make the collection, storage, transport and recycling of hazardous fluids safer, easier and more convenient.

Bart Pucci, senior vice president with Grubb & Ellis' Downtown Los Angeles office, represented the buyer in the transaction. Sandra Crawford and Carol Taubman of Westgate Industrial Properties represented the seller.
