The interchange will connect Yager Lane with the recently completed Tech Ridge Boulevard. It has been designated as a major artery with six lanes of divided highway and 140 feet of right of way.

When completed, Tech Ridge and nearby Canyon Ridge Drive will provide two new interstate access roads for employees and residents east of the interstate. Another beneficiary of the project will be Tech Ridge Center, a 600,000-sf retail development at the southeast corner of I-35 and Parmer Lane.

The design work from Huitt-Zallors is due in November. Bidding for the construction should be completed by spring 2003 with construction work to follow.
