BALTIMORE, MD-Pittsburgh, PA-based broadcaster Eddie L. Edwards of Edwards Broadcasting Inc. is close to solidifying the lease for 8,000-sf at Brown’s Wharf in historic Fells Point. Edwards plans to spend as much as $3 million on renovations and upgrades to the waterfront space, converting it to use for his new restaurant, Da Blues.

Located on Thames Street, the Brown’s Wharf complex is a Class B structure offering 76,000 sf of office and over 26,000 sf of retail space. Built in the early 1900′s and renovated in 1989, the property has been under the ownership of Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT) since 1998.
