The project, known as Pinnacle at Fullerton, will rise at the corner of Lemon and Commonwealth. Aside from residential space, it will include 9,000 sf of retail and a two-level parking garage. The property will feature a range of amenities, including a clubhouse, fitness center, swimming pool and spa. Each apartment unit will boast a deck or patio and a full-sized washer and dryer. In addition, every unit will be prewired for broadband Internet access, cable television and security monitoring. BRE expects to deliver the first units in early 2004.

BRE is currently developing 10 other apartment communities and has joint venture interests in five additional multifamily projects. The REIT directly owns and operates 72 apartment communities in California, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, Utah and Colorado.
