The Livermore Valley Center, a $30 million mixed-use project, plans to develop a retail/office/entertainment complex on a 10-acre site off First Street between South Livermore and Railroad avenues.
An old Downtown courthouse on First Street and South Livermore Avenue has been demolished to make room for a two-story, 19,000-sf building, which will include retail and office space. The project is being developed by Maroon Bear, a subsidiary of Red Bear Property Management.
In addition, two 120,000-sf buildings have been completed in Northern Livermore in the Shea Center. San Jose-based KLA-Tencor Corp. built an office campus on a 43-acre site, which it will use for a manufacturing operation, a training center, a customer response center, and a technology development center.
