LONDON-Teesland Development Company has big plans for Bournemouth. It has put in for permission to turn a derelict 1.9-acre site–St Paul’s Place in the Lansdowne area of the town–from a car park into a mixed-use scheme. It will include a new university teaching and administration building of approximately 84,691 sf which could be occupied by one of the Schools of Bournemouth University. It will include a student hall of residence which will provide accommodation for 440 students and a new office building of 43,056 sf.

Didier Tandy, director of Teesland Development Company, said: “The development of St Paul’s Place is long overdue as the site has been identified for regeneration for over 30 years.”
