Town Seeks Proposals for 120-Acre Farm

MIDDLEBOROUGH, MA-The town puts out a request for proposals for its 120-acre Guidoboni/Soule Farm located here on Soule Street, although a town representative tells GlobeSt.com that city does not want to see the site developed.

MIDDLEBOROUGH, MA-The town has put out a request for proposals for its 120-acre Guidoboni/Soule Farm on Soule Street. The Soule Homestead Education Center has been leasing the site for the past ten years.

Sue McCusker, assistant to the town manager, tells GlobeSt.com that the farm is currently zoned for agricultural use and the town will not consider any proposals to develop the site. “The town has every intention of keeping it as a farm,” she says.
