The trust, Larkey-Wrigley LLC, has used the financing to acquire Wrigley Market Place, a Long Beach retail center. The complex, which stands at the corner of Willow Street and Long Beach Boulevard, was developed in 1999 by CTA/Wrigley LLC, Albertson's Inc., the Long Beach Redevelopment Agency and the Metropolitan Transit Authority. Albertson's still owns and operates the 82,487-sf portion of the center that houses Sav-on Drugs and Albertson's.
Larkey-Wrigley LLC has acquired the remaining 47,707 sf of the 129,894-sf complex. This portion of the center has been procured from CTA/Wrigley LLC, a joint venture partnership between Newport Beach-based CT Realty Corp. and Avalon Realty Advisors LLC, an affiliate of Avalon Financial Group. Financing has been provided by New York City-based Credit Suisse First Boston.
