The 15,510-sf office building has been vacant for the past six months. The buyer, the Temple Baptist Church, will convert the building into a multi-purpose facility that will include office space, educational facilities and gathering places for religious services and ministry.
Like many religious organizations, this buyer needed a cost-efficient facility that would serve a variety of purposes while remaining central to its congregation. Adaptive reuse proved to be a win-win solution that met the church's needs while helping to revitalize the community, according to the Charles Dunn Co., which negotiated the sale.
