''We moved to Parkway because of the functionality of the building and the Parkway has a campus-like feel with fantastic mountain views,'' says Jim Watson, president and CEO of MaxOptix. ''Our goal was to find an upscale flex building where we could establish our own identity. We're now located minutes from US 36 and we will benefit from the new Northwest Parkway (when it opens) and numerous area amenities.''
Frederick Ross Co. brokers Robert Bruce and Scott Garel represented the building's owner, 246 Taylor LLC, in the transaction.
Tav Tabacchi, an independent broker, represented MaxOptix.
''The signing of MaxOptix lease is important in the Colorado Tech Center as it is one of the first significant transactions in that market since 2002 and puts a large dent in the vacancy for the northwest corridor,'' Bruce says.
