Oracle Completes 212,300-SF Oracle II

RESTON, VA-Redwood Shores, CA-based software company Oracle Corp. has just completed Oracle II, the second structure of what will eventually be a four-building campus at Reston Parkway and the Dulles Toll Road. The newest addition, an eight-story, 212,300-sf edifice developed by Spaulding & Slye, cost $20.8 million to construct. Oracle expects to relocate employees from leased offices in the area to the new building sometime this summer.

Along with Oracle II, project general contractor The Clark Construction Group, Inc. built an 180,000-sf, four-level garage valued at $6.2 million, as well as a 60,000-sf surface parking lot. “We started the project in November of 2000,” Clark’s Elizabeth Tuico tells GlobeSt.com,” and we are at substantial completion right now.” The 200,000-sf Oracle I opened in 1998 and cost, along with the property for the additional buildings, $65 million. Currently, there is no word on construction scheduling for the third and fourth buildings.
