NEW YORK CITY-Upscale UK-based luncheonette Pret A Manger has closed on two new Midtown spaces and expects to have up to 20 Manhattan stores up and running by year’s end. The aggregate value of the two latest deals comes to just under $7 million.

The larger of the two transactions marks the aggressively expanding sandwich-shop chain’s biggest Manhattan store to date. Pret A Manger will open a 3,300-sf eatery by the end of the year at 11 W. 42nd St., a 32-story Tishman Speyer Properties LLP building. Insignia/ESG’s Andrew Goldberg and Eric Gelber represented both parties in the $4.8 million transaction.
