OHSU Buys Building at AmberGlen for $11M

HILLSBORO, OR-Oregon Health Sciences University has acquired an 80,000-sf office building in AmberGlen Business Center for approximately $10.8 million, according to sources familiar with the transaction. The three-story structure sits on the southwestern border of the 217-acre business park at 19500 NW Gibbs Rd., a stone’s throw from the Oregon Graduate Institute of Science and Technology, which OHSU acquired last summer.

Gary Griff was one of four Cushman & Wakefield brokers who represented OHSU in the transaction. In a conversation with GlobeSt.com, Griff would confirm only the transaction, not the sales price, which was provided the GlobeSt.com anonymously. “OHSU got a building for below replacement value and got very favorable terms with a small down payment and seller financing,” says Griff. “The process was slow but friendly.”
