Anchored by Food 4 Less, Plaza de Hacienda is located on Hacienda Blvd., between the Pomona Freeway and Interstate Highway 10. The mall was 100% occupied at the time of sale.
Regency sold the property because it reportedly has several acquisitions in the pipeline. The sale of the center was part of Regency's acquisition/purchase plan.
Regency purchased the property in 1998, and conducted some improvements at the center through the years. There is a development parcel in the back of the center, where the new buyer has the potential to build a new development.
Nationally, Regency owns 272 retail properties totaling 29.1 msf located in high growth markets throughout the United States. Regency Centers and Plaza de Hacienda LLC were represented by CB Richard Ellis.
