Wilson Bowden Developments director Will Robinson said: "We are delighted to have concluded the sale of this important fashion destination to Standard Life. West One provides Greater Manchester with its first fashion based retail park which is proving to be a great success as the tenant line up confirms".
Tenants on the park include Next; JJB Sports; Madhouse; The Designer Room; WH Smith; Mothercare; Gap; Uniqlo; Au Naturale and Carphone Warehouse. And in recent weeks four of the five remaining units have been let. Pilot has signed up for 6,800 sf; Mk One has taken a 5,000 sf for its first-ever out-of-town store; HMV has agreed to lease 6,500 sf and Clarks 5,000 sf. At the same time McDonalds has signed up for a 3,100 sf drive through restaurant.
Wilkinson Williams acted for the developers and Edgerly Simpson Howe for Standard Life. Joint letting agents are Insignia Richard Ellis and Lambert Smith Hampton.
