Rockville, MD-based developer Gingery Development Group began the Whiskey Bottom project in 1988 by constructing the 63,000-sf Building A. Building B, which is 63,000 sf in size, came along in 1999 and the final structure was completed less than a year ago. The latest tenants to take on space include Business Flooring, Inc. and Ritz Camera, which have leased 11,600 sf and 5,360 sf respectively in the newest building.
Lockwood Signs has taken on additional space in Building B, and now occupies 37,000-sf. And Putting On The Ritz Catering has moved into a 5,900-sf space in the complex's first structure. "The lease up of Whiskey Bottom Trade Center is an important milestone in the ongoing effort to revitalize the Route One Corridor in Howard County," county councilman Guy Guzzone says of the recent lease-signings.
