215,000-SF Burke Center Fills Up As Renovation Wraps

BURKE, VA-Renovation and expansion activity comes to a close at the 22-year old Burke Centre. In addition, new lease activity at the shopping center brings its occupancy level to 99%. The two-phase Fairfax County renovation project began in 2000 and included the updating of the 215,000-sf shopping center’s façade.

“Our goal in renovating and expanding Burke Centre Shopping Center was to revitalize the shopping environment to meet the needs of the community, as well as the retail merchants,” JBG vice president Alex Ross explains. “With the new tenant mix and the new look, the center is exactly what we envisioned–a clean, spacious, welcoming shopping destination.”
