$23M Building Planned at Georgia Tech

ATLANTA-Archer Western Contractors Ltd. is scheduled to break ground in May on the U.S. Whitaker Biomedical Engineering Building, a new 90,000-sf R&D facility. HOK is the lead architect.

Construction is expected to begin in May. The facility will be used by PhD and MD graduate students for biomedical engineering research.

The U.A. Whitaker Biomedical Engineering Building is the third property to rise at Georgia Tech's Bioscience, Environmental and Materials complex.

Archer Western Contractors, a subsidiary of Chicago-based Walsh Group, is the project's general contractor. St. Louis-based HOK is the lead architect.
