Morning Eagle will be the first condo lodge in Big Mountain Resort's Glacier Village. It will feature 49 ski-in/ski-out condominiums ranging from studios to three-bedrooms that are fully furnished and offer views of the ski slopes, Glacier National Park and Flathead Valley. A portion of the project is already underway, but much of it is still being master planned, a task recently assigned to Design Workshop, a planning firm based in Aspen, Colo.

Design Workshop officials say the new village will expand the bed base to 5,400 pillows from 1,600 with a design influenced by Glacier National Park and Montana's ranches and historic towns. "With mountain homes starting at $189,900, Morning Eagle offers the opportunity for people to get in on the ground level of this unprecedented transformation of Big Mountain into a four season ski and summer destination," says Bayard Dominick, project manager for Hines.
