Hampton Court Palace Site to See Mixed-Use Development

LONDON-Country & Metropolitan has bought a 3-acre site opposite Hampton Court Palace and adjoining Hampton Court Bridge. It plans to build a hotel, some retail units and office space and apartments there.

LONDON-Country & Metropolitan has bought a site with frontage to the River Thames from Whitbread Plc. Part of an area of land that is the subject of an adopted planning brief produced by Elmbridge Borough Council, it will be home to a a new transport interchange and the extension and modernisation of Hampton Court Station, a small hotel, together with a cafe/bar and residential apartments, including affordable housing and small retail units and offices.

C&M is preparing a planning application for submission to the council with a view to starting on site within 12 months.
