The project's $38-million Phase I includes five, four-story buildings that contain 426 units, as well as a five-level parking structure and a clubhouse. This recently completed first phase is currently 55% to 60% leased, according to a company spokesperson.

Construction of the project's final four buildings, which is being handled by Wermers Multi-Family Corp., has already kicked off, as work began on the complex's second phase in December of last year. Completion is slated for April 2003.

At build-out, City Lights will contain 793 units. Design plans call for apartments that range in size from a 598-sf one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit to a 1,500-sf two-bedroom, two-bathroom and den unit. Aside from the clubhouse, other amenities include a theater, business center, conference room, fitness center, aerobics room and massage room.
