Mesa-based 43SAT LLC is the buyer of the 22,806-sf building. The multi-tenant structure currently is leased to Mobile Express Lube, Big O Tire and Cottman Transmission Center. The buyer intends to hold this property as an investment. Tom Semancik of Colliers International's Phoenix office represented the seller in the transaction.
In the second deal, Sleep America, Inc., a locally based retailer of mattresses and bedding supplies, has leased 4,000 sf of retail space from SunCor Development Co., also based in Phoenix. The new location is part of the Palm Valley Pavilions West at the southwest corner of Litchfield and McDowell roads. The power center line-up includes Best Buy, Linens N' Things, Ross Dress for Less, Pier 1 Imports and Barnes & Noble.
Tom Woods and Larry Ortega, both of Colliers International, represented both parties in the lease negotiations. Length of the lease and other terms of the deal were not available at press time.
