Melvin Mark, Ashforth Buy 10 Media Terminals

PORTLAND-The $15,000 kiosks by Seattle-based Civia Media Group will be placed in the Portland companies' office buildings, providing tenants and visitors access to up-to-the-minute news, property information, city entertainment guides and advertising.

PORTLAND-Portland property owners Melvin Mark and Ashforth Pacific have purchased information kiosks for their office buildings from Seattle-based Civia Media Group. The terminals will be placed in 10 of the companies’ Portland office buildings, providing tenants and visitors access to up-to-the-minute news, property information, city entertainment guides and advertising.

The announcement follows news earlier this week that Equity Office Properties Trust has signed on to put the terminals in 20 Northwest office buildings, 17 in the Seattle area and three in the Portland area. Additionally, Seattle-based Unico Properties also has committed to installing media terminals at the US Bancorp Tower, Portland largest office building.
