Delta Dental Acquires 74,000-SF Building

PROVIDENCE, RI-Delta Dental of Rhode Island purchases 10 Charles St., a 74,000-sf office building, from OneBeacon Insurance for $5.9 million. Delta, a current tenant, was looking for an opportunity to expand its offices.

PROVIDENCE, RI-Delta Dental of Rhode Island has purchased the 74,000-sf 10 Charles St. from OneBeacon Insurance for $5.9 million. Delta Dental is an existing tenant in the building.

“This was an opportunity for Delta to secure a headquarters locations and control its own destiny,” Darryl J. Asack, vice president of Spaulding & Slye Colliers, tells GlobeSt.com. Asack and Matthew P. Dwyer, a principal at Spaulding & Slye Colliers, represented the seller in the transaction. Karl Sherry, a partner of Hayes & Sherry, represented the buyer. Asack says that OneBeacon, formerly CGU Insurance, relocated its offices to Mansfield.
