Frozen-Food Maker Takes 40,000 SF of Abutting Production Space

AUSTIN-The California gourmet food maker, Michael Angelo's, marks its 10th year in Austin by carving out a deal for extra space adjacent to its 96,000-sf building in ProLogis Trust's Corridor Park Corporate Center in North Austin.

AUSTIN-Michael Angelo’s Gourmet Foods Inc., a maker of frozen meals, is expanding its operations and taking 40,000 sf in the Corridor Park Corporate Center, a ProLogis Trust property in North Austin.

Michael Angelo’s will use the space for making pasta and related items. It declined not to disclose the terms of the lease and did not have a broker. The privately held company, which has more than 600 employees, moved to Austin in 1992 from California. It makes Italian-style entrees such as lasagnas, parmesans, stuffed pastas and calzones. The company’s 132,000-sf operation abuts the leased property.
