Among other holdings, Brookfield owns the 56-story Republic Plaza in Downtown, the tallest building in Colorado.

During his 19-year career, Czoski has been in charge of managing 7 million sf of office space and has been involved in 3.5 million sf of office leases.

Before joining Brookfield, he spent 12 years in Denver with Jones Lang LaSalle.

Although he had his pick of all sized companies, he chose Northstar for four reasons:* The long-term focus of founder R. Brian Watson. He didn't want to be short-term oriented, as so many in the business are, he says.* The business ethics of Watson, who during his seven years at Cushman & Wakefield represented such clients as Lend Lease Real Estate, Carr America Realty, P&O Investments, DPC Cos., and Shea Properties.

* Northstar's plan to integrate management, leasing and operations,avoiding creating a ''three-headed animal."

* Northstar's ability to co-invest with clients, as well as providingthird-party management and leasing.
