Upscale Condominium Units On Auction Block

DENVER-An auction of 17 new condominium units in two projects, something that hasn't been seen in this market since the 1980s, takes place next month. The units are in two buildings in the Uptown and Congress Park neighborhoods.

DENVER-Chicago-based Sheldon Good & Co. will auction 17 new condominium units in two projects in the trendy neighborhoods of Uptown and Congress Park next month. A total of seven of the units will be sold absolute, regardless of price, at the May 19 auction.

”Wow,” says Steve Blank, a veteran RE/MAX broker when GlobeSt.com told him about the auction. ”I don’t think there’s been an auction in central Denver like this since ’86-87.”

In the first project, 15 newly renovated one-bedroom/one-bath condominiums will be auctioned at 1629 Clarkson St., across from the luxury Swallow Hill project under construction in Uptown.
