The technology firm, which is venture-funded, will use the space, which is located at 3526 Investment Blvd., for its headquarters and R&D space. The lease is valued at $374,000.
Gateway Industrial Park is a 102,000-sf complex located at the base of the San Mateo Bridge.
Bob Ferraro of Colliers International represented Gateway Industrial Park in the transaction; Scott Robinson with Robinson McNally represented Applied Photon Technology.
"Activity is picking up, especially in the service sector," says Ferraro, a vice president with Colliers. "Now that the recession appears to be near or at the end of its life cycle, I believe we will see companies look to expand or relocate into larger offices."
