The new facility will provide laser welding, stamping, blanking, assembly and packaging services in a "one-stop shopping" environment for customers.
Noble Metal Processing provides the laser welding services and SET provides the blanking, stamping and assembly.
The strategy, company officials say, is to create a facility that can combine the capabilities of both companies to provide integrated steel processing services.
"We hope that this alliance will serve as a model for future joint ventures between majority and minority firms," says Christopher Morin, president and chief operating officer.
