Speaking to GlobeSt.com, Trammell Crow vice president Matt Wilson says, "the hotel will be a great amenity to the park." The real estate services firm represented the park owners in the transaction. Hopkins Road officials had been eager to find the right hotel developer to construct on the property. "We looked at hotel users and thought this would be a good addition," Wilson adds.

The new Holiday Inn will have a business center, as well as an exercise room and ample meeting space. Star expects to begin construction on the hotel early next year in time to welcome guests by the end of 2003. With Star's acquisition, the 65-acre business park has a remaining 18 acres of undeveloped land available for sale.
