The project would be situated on a 38-acre site and would include more than 360,000-sf of theaters, restaurants and stores. A drive-in theater at U.S. 50 and Bradshaw Road would be included.

San Rafael-based Syufy is the developer of the project, which has been in the works for four years, and also owns the drive-in theater. The proposal originally called for a 25-screen Century Theaters complex but was cut back. Since then, Syufy has acquired 14 more acres for the project, allowing room for stores and restaurants.

The development proposal includes two alternative site plans. If approved, the project could be ready by fall 2003, including time for environmental and zoning reports and permits.
