Crestline to Manage Rocky Gap Lodge

FLINTSTONE, MD-The four-year old, $53 Million Rocky Gap Lodge & Golf Course in Allegany County gets a new manager as McLean, VA’s Crestline Capital Corporation commits its management subsidiary, Crestline Hotels & Resorts, to run the 218-room property. The five-year contract is valued at as much as $1.5 million.

Owned by the Maryland Economic Development Corporation (MEDCO), the property sits on 235-acres at the foot of Evitts Mountain near Lake Habeeb at 16701 Lakeview Road. Renowned golf pro Jack Nicklaus designed the 18-hole course at Rocky Gap, which was funded by government and private organizations. In addition to the rooms, the lodge offers 12,500-sf of meeting space, as wells as two restaurants.
