Developer Robbie Mayfield Cos. Inc. has hired Steve McMillon, senior vice president of the Kucera Cos. of Austin, to market the project called Rob Roy 360 along south Capital of Texas Highway, also known as Loop 360.

Three acres of the 16-acre site can be developed. Mayfield's plans call for two floors, 44,000 sf, atop a 97-space parking garage. The two-story lobby has a staircase to the second level. The building has two elevators.

McMillon said low interest rates make the timing right for a tenant who wants to own its building to buy the site and have a property built to its specifications.

Several properties have joined the southwest submarket in the past few months. Dell Computer Corp. has 140,000 sf of office space up for sublease in two buildings at Las Cimas; Live Oak Development recently opened the 125,000-sf Mira Vista near MoPac Expressway; and Transwestern Commercial Services' 123,500-sf Travis Oaks is ready to lease.
