Developer Hawks Building Site, Plans in Southwest Austin

AUSTIN-In a city with tough entitlement processes, a developer decides to retreat from his building plans and put the whole shebang on the market. Rob Roy 360 is a 16-acre site, of which three can be developed along Loop 360.

AUSTIN-A site, a plan and permits and entitlements for a building in Southwest Austin are on the market as the developer decides it’s not the right time for it to build. The developer will sell the site and plans, lease the building or build-to-suit.

Developer Robbie Mayfield Cos. Inc. has hired Steve McMillon, senior vice president of the Kucera Cos. of Austin, to market the project called Rob Roy 360 along south Capital of Texas Highway, also known as Loop 360.

Three acres of the 16-acre site can be developed. Mayfield’s plans call for two floors, 44,000 sf, atop a 97-space parking garage. The two-story lobby has a staircase to the second level. The building has two elevators.
