City Council Passes 'Blueprint Denver'

DENVER-The lone councilman to vote against the land use and transportation plan is concerned about how it would affect development of South Federal Boulevard in his district.

DENVER-The city council, by an 11-1 vote, passed Blueprint Denver, the city’s integrated land use and transportation plan. The plan, three years in the making, for the first time combines land use and transportation.

A 46-member advisory committee presented the plans to an estimated 2,000 Denver residents and business owners.

The plan calls for determining and influencing the type, quality and amount of development.
