The 279-room property has been renamed the WestCoast Hotel Pasco and boasts more than 17,000-sf of meeting space. West Coast acquired the property in December 2001 in a deal that included two Doubletrees and the entire Red Lion Hotels & Inns brand.

The WestCoast Hotel Pasco is just four blocks from the Tri-cities airport, and adjacent to the Sun Willows Golf Course. Amenities include a fitness center, heated swimming pool, hot tub, business center and complimentary hotel shuttle. The Vineyards Steak House offers a dailyluncheon buffet, while Seasons Restaurant provides casual dining 24-hours a day. Entertainment and dancing can be found at the Grizzly Bar.

The Tri-Cities area is comprised of the cities of Pasco, Kennewick and Richland and the area is enjoying an economy that outpaced the rest of the region in 2001. During that time the Tri-Cities experienced job growth of 3 percent, compared with almost zero growth statewide. The region is in the heart of Washington wine country and its agricultural employment contributed to the region's growth. Other economic drivers include the US Department of Energy and Hanford.

WestCoast Hospitality Corporation operates two other hotels in the Tri-Cities. The 149-room Richland Red Lion Hotel Hanford House and the 162-room WestCoast Hotel Kennewick.
