Local EDC Sets Growth Summit for May

VISTA, CA-In an effort to address the fast-growing North County’s growth issues, The North County Economic Development Council will host a regional government summit on May 3 from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido.

State Senator Steve Peace, County Supervisor Ron Roberts and SANDAG Executive Director Gary Gallegos will each present their visions for improved regional governance. Panel presentations will follow and include County Supervisors Bill Horn and Pam Slater, Escondido Mayor Lori Holt Pfeiler, Oceanside Mayor Terry Johnson, Carlsbad Chamber Chairman Gary Hill and Building Industry Association Staff Counsel Jerry Livingston.
