The space was formerly occupied by adidas, which vacated 130,000 sf earlier this year with a year left on its lease to occupy its new headquarters in the former Bess Kaiser Hospital in North Portland.

AT&T is consolidating administrative functions currently housed in several service locations throughout the region, which will remain open. AT&T was represented in the transaction by Dave Squire of Grubb & Ellis and Nathan Sasaki of Pacific Real Estate Management Group.

The lease agreement is said to have included close to two years of free rent, some of which is being covered by adidas, which has relocated to its new headquarters in the former Bess Kaiser Hospital in North Portland. Jeff Falconer and Mike Nye of Trammell Crow Co. represented EOP.

Just before the AT&T deal, Squire and partner Brandon Frank brought Axium Software to Nimbus. The provider of financial and accounting applications to arch engineering and design-build firms signed a five-year lease for 9,000 sf in a newer one-story flex building at 8705 SW Nimbus. The space Axium is taking was formerly occupied by Handyman Online. Axium is relocating from a two-story class C building in Griffith Park at 5150 Griffith Dr.
