Greenwich Capital Opens in LA, Hires West Coast Director

LOS ANGELES-Wayne M. Brandt, as managing director and head of the West Coast Real Estate Finance Group, will develop Greenwich's market presence for large structured real estate financings on the West Coast and will be based in a new office to be opened in Los Angeles.

LOS ANGELES-Greenwich Capital Markets, a leading fixed income investment bank located in Greenwich, Conn., has hired Wayne M. Brandt as managing director and head of the West Coast Real Estate Finance Group. Mr. Brandt will develop Greenwich’s market presence for large structured real estate financings on the West Coast and will be based in a new office to be opened in Los Angeles. Mr. Brandt will oversee the firm’s Irvine commercial lending operation, and will report to Mark Finerman, Head of the Real Estate Finance Group.

Greenwich Capital is a major primary dealer in U.S government securities, and a recognized leader in the sales and trading of Agency and asset-backed securities, as well as in the consumer finance and commercial mortgage securitization markets. The firm also provides futures brokerage services and research to institutional clients.
