Lewis Developing 6 Retail Centers

UPLAND, CA-Lewis Retail Centers is developing six new retail centers on I-15 and 210 Freeway corridors in Inland Empire area of Southern California. The projects, scheduled to break ground in phases starting this summer, total nearly 3 million sf.

UPLAND, CA-Lewis Retail Centers is developing six new retail centers at the I-15 and 210 Freeway corridors in Inland Empire area of Southern Calif. The six new projects, all scheduled to break ground in the next three to eighteen months, total almost 3 million sf.

The largest project will be Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., a 1.3-mfs open-air super regional lifestyle and retail center planned to open in 2004. The project will offer a mixture of regional and neighborhood serving retail stores, restaurants, cafes, lifestyle and entertainment uses including bookstores, professional offices, housing, civic and cultural uses in a downtown setting.

Eastvale Gateway will be the second largest project at more than 800,000 sf and will offer a combination of neighborhood, community and entertainment elements. This project is situated on the heavily traveled I-15 Freeway at Limonite Ave. in Riverside County. The first phase scheduled to open in fall of 2003.
