According to Alan Waller, chief estimator for Jay Cashman, theirs was the lowest of the six bids to develop the North Point Park, which is an area on the North side of the Charles River bounded by the Charles River, the Green Line viaduct, the MBTA commuter rail tracks, and the new North Point Streets.

The contract description involves the construction of a shallow water feature and islands, pedestrian bridges, demolition of existing site foundations and pavement, and lowering the site grade and regrading to create a gradual slope to the water's edge. Also included are new utility construction, relocation of existing utilities, construction and installation of Cambridge city streets, and surface park improvements including a playground, pedestrian and bicycle paths, extensive plantings, site walls, lighting, benches, artwork and other site furniture, construction of temporary concession boat ramp and the construction of a permanent concession. According to the Big Dig's website, the estimated value of North Point Park is $17.1 million.
