Developments Expected to Profit From Terminal

ROMULUS, MI-Distribution facilities and a mixed-use project should become more popular now that a new 99-gate terminal is done, says Nemer Property Group's owner and president.

ROMULUS, MI-Two developments by the Nemer Property Group of Southfield, MI are set to expand, hoping the new 99-gate, $1.2 billion Northwest Terminal at the Detroit Metropolitan Airport will bring in more companies that want to use acreage surrounding the facility. The Aeroplex Development consists of two phases of logistics and distribution facilities.

Larry Nemer, owner and president of the Nemer Group, says the first 300,000-sf building is already completed. Now, the company has started construction on another 300,000-sf building.

He tells GlobeSt.com the asking lease price of the buildings is $5.50 per sf.
