Analogic Corp. Leases 200,000-SF Facility

HAVERHILL, MA-Analogic Corporation leases a 200,000-sf manufacturing facility on 20 Computer Dr. near Route 495. The company, which designs and manufactures advanced health and security systems, recently received its largest-ever contracts and needs a large plant to ramp up its production.

HAVERHILL, MA-Analogic Corporation is leasing a 200,000-sf manufacturing facility on 20 Computer Dr. near Route 495. The company, which designs and manufactures advanced health and security systems and subsystems for Original Equipment Manufacturers, needs the additional space to ramp up its production of explosive detection systems.

The building, developed in 1991, was most recently occupied by Lucent Technology and is located on 20 acres of land. Analogic currently has approximately 400,000 sf of space at its Peabody, Massachusetts-based headquarters. It needs this facility because the company recently received a large order for its EXACT Systems, which will be used in an explosive detection system being purchased by the US Government and installed at major airports across the nation to scan checked luggage for aircraft. This contract, the largest in Analogic’s 33 years, has a potential value of approximately $500 million.
